New Crescent City Classic 10k Course!

If you remember back to last April I ran in the Crescent City Classic 10k in New Orleans after running a qualifying time at the WDW 10k last January.  This year the CCC10k is happening on March 26.  Unfortunately, I won’t be around for the race, I recently found out that I’m leaving on March 17 for 10 weeks at the Army School of Music in Virginia Beach.  That doesn’t mean I can’t follow along with one of my favorite events though, right?

CCC just released a new course map for 2016 and announced a bigger better finish festival area.  The finish area last year was in the same space as the Rock ‘n’ Roll New Orleans finish area.  This year they are setting up in a different area of the City Park and the new course wraps around and enters the park area a little differently and the starting line has been backed up a block or two.

If you’re looking to run a super fast 10k in New Orleans you better register soon.  Prices increase on Fat Tuesday, February 9. There are 2 categories for registration, General Registrations & Seeded Runners.  If you have run a sub-45 minute 10k within 2 months of your registration date you can put yourself into the seeded corrals.  There are 3 corrals for seeded runners, a corral for all the charity runners, and a mass corral for everyone else.

Registration is open and you can get into the race here!
