Red Ranger Run Update

As the new year started people from across the country began receiving their medals from the Red Ranger Run and posting their pictures online.  If you remember back this was a virtual run that I hosted with help from to raise money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and for the John Ritter Foundation for Aortic Health.  Registration closed in early November and with the 42 participants we raised just over $300 that was split between the two charities.   That number was a little lower than last year’s Green Power Ranger themed event due to a higher cost for the medals & a slightly lower participant number, but after people starting posting pictures online I received several messages from people asking about the next Ranger Run.

Speaking of… Which Ranger do you want to see featured in the next run?

The medals turned out better than I could have imagined and have set the design for future events as well.  I love seeing posts float in across Facebook/Twitter/Instagram of children and adults running in honor of the St. Jude Heroes & Team Ritter and proudly displaying their medals. I’m also excited to see what happens in the future with these events.  I’m really hoping to see them grow in participant number and overall outreach of the mission to spread awareness and raise funds to benefit incredible charities.

Plans are already in the works for the next event in the Ranger Run Series happening in late summer, keep an eye out for more details soon!

In the mean time enjoy a few pictures from the Red Ranger Run!
