Lots of mileage this week. I need to do a better job of balancing work, school work, and cross training into my running schedule. For Rock n Roll Las Vegas Marathon I have put together a training plan that not only incorporates mileage for each run each week, but also goal paces and finishing times for each. Those will be listed under each run.
September 9 – 15
Monday – 1.0 mile swim
4.0 miles in 26:54
Tuesday – Rest
Wednesday – 9.11 miles in 1:07:09. My goal for the day was 8 miles in 1:02:33, but I created my own
commemoration run for September 11 for the day.
Thursday – 5.0 miles on the treadmill in 45:00. Goal was just a 45 minute run with no mileage base, I decided to do these on the treadmill as an homage to Runemz as she was starting her 100+ mile, 24 hour treadmill run for charity.
Friday – Rest
Saturday – Yak a Du Duathlon. 2 mile run – 13:13
2 mile kayak – 28:37
2 mile run – 13:06
Sunday – 14.0 miles in 1:50:21. Goal for this run was 1:54:48
