Weekly Workout Recap

Last week I didn’t do my long run until Sunday night so I pushed Monday’s scheduled 5 miles to Tuesday. Well this caused me to run hard back to back on Tuesday & Wednesday with a shake out run on Thursday. Needless to say I was very sore this week after pushing like that on back to back days. Thursday I ran in the morning and had to cut short because I was running late for work (literally). I took Friday off to recover & moved Saturday’s scheduled long run to Sunday morning due to weather. Every run I completed this week I finished ahead of my time goals.

Monday – Rest
Tuesday – 5.0 Miles / 34:20 – Goal was 5 mi / @7:26/mile / 37:11
Wednesday – 8.0 Miles / 59:20 – Goal was 8 mi / @7:49/mile / 1:02:33.Also 1 hour lifting weights

Thursday – 3.1 Miles / 26:42 – Goal was 45 minute run
Friday – Rest
Saturday – Rainout/Rest
Sunday – 16.0 Miles / 2:03:16 – Goal was 16 Miles / @8:12/mile / 2:11:12
